About Me

My Story

Already from a young age, I have always been fascinated by the audiovisual world and visual storytelling. In 2012, I started my first YouTube channel, and as you can probably imagine it wasn't as glamorous as shoots can be today. Over the years my interest started drifting away from filming my family and friends and towards bigger and more serious projects.

Fast forward to 2018, I started my international study in Media and Entertainment. During my study, I have gotten the chance to dip my toes into the professional waters of videography and discovered my passion for it. I also started exploring a different world and tried myself out in streaming video games. Each of these experiences sparked something inside of me and gave me the chance to see videography from different perspectives.

Although all these things helped me build new skills, the most valuable opportunity has proven to be my internship at the Marketing and Social Media Consultancy, Holland Park Media (HPM).  As their production intern, I got to produce live streams, filmed and edited videos for HPM and their clients, and improved my graphic design skills. During this time I got to live out my creativity and worked on a variety of different projects. From TikTok videos to big cooperate productions, the span of projects seemed endless.

After the completion of my internship, I set up my own freelance company "IGV Productions" and started working together with new clients, and took on any opportunity that would help strengthen my skills. Next to that, I continued working with Holland Park Media and continuously learn more about directing, editing, and videography in general.
